Chili
- 1.3 lb ground turkey (or you can use tofu)
- 2 can chili beans, rinsed
- 1 medium tomato, diced
- 1 small can fire-roasted diced tomatoes
- 1 Tbsp chili powder
- 1/4 tsp garlic powder
- 2 cloves fresh garlic, minced
- 1/2 small onion, diced
- 1/2 cup water
- 1/2 tsp cumin
- 1 Tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp sea salt
Cornbread
- 3 1/2 cups bread flour
- 1 cup cornmeal
- 1 tsp sea salt
- 2 Tbsp sugar (I always use organic evaporated cane juice)
- 3 Tbsp butter (or margarine)
- 1 cup milk (or milk alternative)
- 1/8 cup water
- 1 egg (or egg replacement)
- 2 1/2 teaspoons active dry yeast
Select the basic bread setting, and start the machine.
Once done, transfer the bread from the pan onto a rack to cool.
